Letters

The letter you use on a pub window depends on the type of pub. If you have a traditional brown café, with lace curtains on copper curtain rods, with stained glass windows, you choose a nice, ornamental curly letter, because it fits in with the environment. It is not the information that counts, because everyone can tell it’s a café, but it’s about decoration, about creating an atmosphere.

Healthcare Reform

Watching the news lately has been depressing. Heck, watching The Daily Show coverage of the news about Healthcare Reform Townhall meetings has been equally depressing. Not because of what the gvt is doing. They’re doing just fine. It’s the people on both sides yelling and screaming and getting out of hand and throwing around words like Nazis and Death Panels. Goodness people.
A blog called Squashed has done it’s best to lay out this Heathcare Reform (as it stands at the moment) in a simplified and easy to read manner: in answer to the question -
Can someone explain to me, or point me in the direction of a website that can explain to me, in a clear, 10-yr. could understand, nonpartisan matter the elements, pros and cons of the proposed HealthCare reform?
While I’m sure it’s not 100% non-partisan as nothing is, it does a fairly good job of getting the root of the bill. Now, knowing bills and congress there are always, 100% of the time, strings attached to bills that you’ll never hear about unless you contact your local congressman, but that’s life.
Enjoy, it was exciting for me just to be able to be able to read about it hacked down to the fundamental core.

Rick Owens new collection is gorgeous. Granted I’m not a fan of that model and some of the work is over the top. But it plays right with my love of female fashion and layers.
